Pakistan to initiate second phase of relief flights to repatriate stranded nationals

ISLAMABAD: The following period of the repatriation of Pakistanis stranded abroad during the coronavirus pandemic will begin from Tuesday, announced Radio Pakistan . 

As indicated by the report, FM Qureshi told a parliamentary board of trustees administering the issue that 39,748 Pakistanis have mentioned to get back to Pakistan. 

The report cited the remote pastor as saying that up until this point, 1,640 Pakistanis have been repatriated through 12 uncommon flights. He said more noteworthy exertion will be made to bring back stranded Pakistanis right now of flights. 

Right now, International Airlines (PIA) will repatriate in excess of 1,800 Pakistanis stranded at various goals around the globe due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

As per PIA, the flights will run from today till April 19. 

A PIA representative said that on April 17 and 18, alleviation flights will be worked for Manchester. 

On April 17, PIA flights PK-8852 and PK-8894 will leave for Seoul, while on April 18, a unique flight will leave for Jakarta from Karachi. 

Another trip on April 17 will repatriate Pakistanis from Dubai, while on April 19, PIA will work flight PK-784 from Toronto to Karachi. 

PIA sources prior educated that two flights will work today to bring back 400 Umrah travelers from Saudi Arabia. 

One of the flights will land in Multan, while the other will land at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. 

Another flight will travel to UAE and repatriate 410 as of late discharged Pakistani detainees, with the flights arrival in Faisalabad and Peshawar. 

Alleviation flights will bring 270 stranded travelers from Thailand and Japan to Islamabad as well. 

Two further flights will bring back 360 Pakistani detainees from Oman on April 15 and 16.
